Indian Peaks Trail - 2004

Back in June of 2004, we talked about the possibility of buying a Weimaraner puppy, but were unsure of how the new puppy would interact with our kitties, Jake and Simmi.  A few weeks after our conversation we saw a couple in our neighborhood walk by with a little 5 month old Weimie and we went out to ask them some questions about the breed.  A couple of days later, they came knocking on our door and said they had to move into an apartment which did not allow pets and asked us if we would like to adopt Mollie.  It was love at first sight and she has been with us ever since.

We bought Sinatra from a breeder in Nebraska in December 2004.  We thought the only thing better than one Weimaraner would be two, and we were right.  At only six weeks old, we knew we had the pick of the litter.  We submitted photos of our puppies to the Weimaraner Rescue for there annual Weimaraner calendar and our little Sinatra made the pick.  You can find his picture in this years Weimaraner Rescue calendar, he is "Mr. November."

Needless to say, Sinatra and Mollie are the best of friends.  Ever since the first day we brought Sinatra home, Mollie has not left his side.  She has taken on the role of big sister and she has shown Sinatra the "ropes".  Mollie and Sinatra are the best behaved puppies and we love them with all of our hearts.
